1. Take the loop through the ages walking tour.
This self-guided walking tour takes in all the historic sites in Trim including Trim Castle, Newtown and lots more. You can pick up your map and passport at any of the Hotels in Town, the Stockhouse restaurant or Trim Visitor centre. One of the stops if the Castle Arch Hotel! 2. Eat out and help out.
Support our local restaurants and hotels during this really uncertain period for them. Grab a take away, get a coffee to bring on your walk, tag them in your Instagram stories and support as many local businesses that you can. Visit the spot where Braveheart the movie was filmed. This OPW site is now free to visit- so bring a picnic or work up an appetite to eat somewhere in town afterwards.
