Located only 5 minutes from Castle Arch Hotel the Boyne Blueway is a beautiful stretch of water from Inchamore Bridge near Longwood through the town of Trim itself and on to Bective Mill. Whether you’re into paddling or interested in the history and beauty of the Boyne Valley, the Boyne Blueway is a must for all paddling skill levels from beginners to the experienced.
With a length of 35km, the full stretch can be paddled in approx 8 hours by experienced paddlers. You can also take it in sections and at your own pace to savour the delights the river has to offer.
Boyne Valley Activities organise hire sit-on-top kayaks and run rafting trips for those who want to get on and off the water.
